We are all selling our ideas every day, whether internally to others in our organization, externally to clients or in our own homes! In each situation the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the other person's needs is the number one predictor of success. In this workshop we will focus on the sister skills of questioning and listening as key tools for the effective person to master. This workshop involves interactive practice with peer and instructor feedback.

Presenters: Adrienne Milics, Executive Coach, Lyne Desormeaux, Corporate Counseling Associates, and Barbara Healy, Barbara Healy Associates
As women leaders get closer to the top of organizations we are faced with new challenges. Some of us have to work with a senior team that is composed of mostly males. Others are faced with added pressure and time constraints. This panel focuses on exploring the challenges that female leaders face, including help in finding avenues for support, decision-making, navigating the political landscape and understanding the competition. We will demonstrate how women can leverage their strengths in facing these challenges and what top management within an organization can do to nurture talented women. Learn about competency differences by gender and hear powerful case studies of women’s success in leadership.
